Proper lighting.. Is everything to good theming

Yes, one may think that when its night just turn on the Tube lights. No way!! Power Tower is now lite with different color lights like it was when Cedar Point first installed it. Way to go Cedar Point. It looks so awsome now! I dont think that you can remember when Magnun xl 200 Was built in 1989? There were the coolest laser lighting that bounced back and forth , up and down the lift hill. It was so cool. And now there is just minumal lighting to say the least.The Lighting in side the Maverick tunnel at night is really nice also. ( I wonder how long that will last?) The Chaser Lights on the Cork Screw, still is going strong though. Cedar Point has really kept those special effects going.Theming and Lighting can really add a great look and feel to an area or a ride. I say LED on everything. The more color the better. The Chaser Lights on the Blue Streak are really cool also. in a old fashion kind of a way. Just A thought.

Yes lighting makes for great theming if thats what you are asking. The only problem is that CP is really bad with keeping up on all of the theming. If you have been to the park just look at the water bombs at Maverick. It started out with 3 and is now down to only one working bomb and this is their newest coaster. I could also beat a dead horse and mention Disaster Transport but it has already been said many times

Yes, CP needs more LED lights. Other than the starlight walkthru. CP can do very well with theming, I know they can, they have it in them. But I think they are not giving it a second glance, after they install things, they see it, test it, and hope it works. Then they walk away and if it doesn't work right, or something needs fixed or maintained, they don't jump back on it to keep it working.

It just sits and deteriorates, slowly. Not that they are lazy, but they are working on other things like updating restaurants and building kids areas that have almost exact duplicates of kids rides that are already at camp snoopy......
