Promises for Emily

Life changed for the Deming family in an instant when their 3 year old, Emily, was diagnosed with brain cancer. Emily is the daughter of Dan Deming, Production Manager in Cedar Point's Live Entertainment Department. Please donate to help with medical and travel expenses for treatment.

As Live E junkies with daughters not much older than Dan's, we've seen him on the midway frequently and he has always been very friendly and willing to say hello. You'll always find him running around various shows checking speakers, talking to techs, etc.

If I remember correctly, Dan was even the tour guide at a PointBuzz event a few years ago who gave us the behind-the-scenes tour of Happy Jack's.

This is sad news and I pray all the best for Emily, Dan, and the family. Whatever individual beliefs folks here may have, I hope fellow PointBuzzers will join in support and/or take a few quiet moments for comforting thoughts and wishes for the Deming family.

One would never expect a supposed virus would turn out to be something like this.

She's so young and sounds so sweet and brave, it's heartbreaking and I wish them all the strength and courage to fight this and pray Emily recovers to good health.

Please help if you can!! He is a great man and would do anything for a friend in need.
