Project 2007 Ground Rules

1. Please do not post links to other sites or links to your own photos regarding Project 2007. We will have extensive photo coverage of the area (once photos are allowed on May 6), so they are likely to be duplicates anyway. Which, leads us to rule #2 ...

2. If you have something worthwhile and different that we have not covered, please e-mail me and we'll see about including it in our galleries. But don't link to your own photos (or those on other sites) without permission from myself or Jeff.

I think these are fairly straightforward and are really just in keeping with our "no spam" policy. Thanks for your cooperation and be sure to look forward to some great 2007 coverage from PointBuzz this summer!

It's not a Floorless Coaster, is it? :(

Walt - you should consider "sticking" this.

Pinned topics tend to get lost at the top. I'll probably just bump it every so often.

My bad on the earlier post. No disrespect intended.

I'm not going to lose sleep over it. :) And I'm not going to watch the site like a hawk, deleting posts with an evil laugh. But I think it's a simple request.

^^ Though it's quite amusing to wonder if that actually happens. ;)

To clarify things, the ground rules are not meant to block out the outside world or help keep secrets. As Rule #2 states, if there's something interesting or new that we don't have, just ask first. That way we can make sure the photo isn't something already here and that it was taken without violating park policy.

Hi guys, im from Montreal and i've been a long time CP fan...I did my first and only trip to the mecca in 2004 after more than 12 years of long wait...I came to the park with my father and let me tell you we had such a blast!

Everything was a walk on or near that...i miss Millie, Maggie and TTD soooo much its crazy!

I think im really on somethin about P2007...the western teasers speaked about some serious SIDEwinding...the WIND of change is mind blowin...the whole new DIRECTION etc..They always be puttin a huge drop cuz the part near the trees and behind Thunder Canyon is filled with lots of thick concrete footers...looks like they could go really high once again in that compressed short and precious piece of land! With the turnaround in front of MS!!

My idea is that this Intamin coaster is gonna be huuuuge and the first of its kind!

Either one of these three: the world's first ever ALL BACKWARDS coaster..(imagine a ride on Millie all backwards...just how so outta this world that sick first drop would be!!!) Tony and Tyler told us the path (on a coaster probably) ALWAYS choosen is not NECESSARILY the best one...hmmmm makes me wonder!

OR...the first ALL SIDEWAYS!! Imagine the sick airtime Not to mention the ejector seat feeling of getting out of the car on an outside-inside turn and twist! The pressure on the shoulder restraints in the curves...riding sideways like you're always overbanked.

Or maybe the seats on that coaster will placed you 2 by 2 side by side...and people are gonna be ridin sideways on the coaster track! Just like the disposition of the seats on Skyhawk..but mounted on a sleak coaster train! The more i see the updates the more i think its gonna be dueling low impulse like Rita Queen Of Speed at Alton Towers in Straffordshire UK.

Only time will tell...but hey guys enjoi 2006 for me cuz CP is a twelve hour car trek for me!

ok screamomatic, you've seen the pics of the tracks right...they are Intamin tracks, not B&M tracks. B&M is the only company that makes floorless rollercoasters. If Intamin makes a floorless I will be amazed.

Nice job complaining about stuff said over a month ago. I think that may have even been before track started arriving. Woohoo, go you.
