Be thankful for the picture updates we get. Walt, Doug, Jeff and anyone else providing photo updates do have a life outside of Project 2007.
If you want a recent photo update, go to funcoast.com. They have great pictures of the completed corkscrew.
If you're not getting photos often enough, go to the park yourself, or quit complaining.
Oh my, Mark. I like a guy who shows some authority! ;-)
I was wondering why this thread was still here. Maybe Walt's having dinner with his family, or getting the kids reading to start school....

Thanks for the vote of confidence Leslie. It just gets frustrating trying to find real update information on this site and have to read all the complaining. And I'd guess those that aren't getting their daily pic fix don't even bother to pay for PointBuzz premium to help with the cost of running this site.
Maybe you guys are just spoiled, and maybe that's our fault. No other web site, newspaper, radio or TV station have even approached the level of coverage we've given this thing. I don't live at the Palace Theatre. I do have a full time job, a full time family, not to mention just getting back last night from a business trip to Little Rock. I depend on contributions from members to fill in the gaps.
I'm convinced that if we went to hourly updates, someone would complain about not seeing what happened 30 minutes ago.

And people have asked me why I don't run my own website. As has been proven here...I just don't have the patience for all of it. Kudos to Walt and Jeff...many, many times over.

I very much appreciate all the updates. Yes, we are very spoiled by getting so many QUALITY updates from here. Of course, the more we get, the more we want. But, I understand how much time it takes to have updates like you guys do. I would never complain about a lack of updates on here because we already get way more than anyone else.
Keep up the great work everyone!
I get the feeling that Project 2007 might be similar to "Speed Monster", an Intamin coaster in Norway.
Take a look... what do you guys think ?
