Normally, I don't think it's appropriate to be making fun of someone in a forum. But if anyone deserved an acception to be made, it would be Paul Ruben. I got to know him many many years ago, when he was actually kicked out of Western New York Coaster Club for being an idiot. Did you know this self-proclaimed expert has to take Dramamine before riding? I'm not kidding. And he only rides when the media is around.

Whenever I see an article in print about coasters or parks, and I'm anxious to read it, I always check to see who wrote it first. If it's Ruben, I just look at the pictures. His stories are always so riddled with inaccuracies they drive me crazy.

Thanks for the laughs in this thread - how refreshing to know Ruben has a reputation!

Will Paul Ruben be able to ride MF and the other Intamin Hypers now? He definitely is a guest of exceptional size... And how will that affect his rating of second hills being in the coaster hall of fame?

Wouldn't it be too funny to see Ruben show up with a film crew, only to find out he can't fit in the seat? I mean, getting pointed out as fat in front of all those people in the MF line is bad enough, but he might do it on national tv! Of course, then he'd go back on the diet he invented about 20 years ago. He ate nothing but slurpies. (those flavored crushed ice type things sold at convenience stores) He DID lose weight, but I think the brain freeze must have been more permanent than the weight loss.
