Im headed up to the point next Friday, and this is my first time purchasing a season pass so I was just wondering how long does this normally take? Im going on a weekday, so is there a chance that the line may possibly be reduced?

Even on a good day it seems the season pass center is lightyears behind the Paramount and Six Flags way of doing season passes. You will have better luck on a weekday, especially this early in the season.

Yesterday (opening day) the line was HELLA long. I don't mean half an hour or an hour long, I mean several (if not many) hours long.
The line started at the back door to the season pass center, went down to the private dining pavillion, went over to blue streak, down to BS's turnaround, and to the front of the season pass center. And these folks weren't standing single file, either.
That is very true Michael. I remember a few years ago my buddy needed his pass processed on opening day and the line was so horribly long we chipped in and bought him a ticket so he wouldn't have to wait. I sure wish they'd revamp that system. I've renewed my pass by mail so many times even I wonder if that's me in the picture these days. ;)

I've been using the same photo on my pass since they went digital in 2001. Nice to know I'm not the only one who is. :)
I think they did revamp the system. I wen't on friday night and there was a long line (maybe 40 people) but I was out in 10 minutes. It appears they have new computers and added more cameras in a little room to the side of the center. An improvment I guess, but other parks still do it better.

What do other parks do that is so much more efficient? I have to get one processed this year for the first time, so hopefully the lines wont be too bad.
Cedar Point rocks my socks.
