Problem with Seating

I have a problem. When I go to Cedar Point, I will have a group of 3. I know it's not really a problem on any of the other coaster but it might be on Millennium Force, because 2 of us want the front, but theres 3. Could I ask the ride-op if that third person could wait until we got in the front seat, and then have them get in the second to front seat? I just wanna make sure we all get on the same ride. I have thought about all of us just waiting in the front line, but the extra person wants to be on the train that we're on.

If you like riding Wicked Twister in the back, does that mean you like to get screwed in the rear?

Not gonna happen...you'll just have to have someone go by themselsves up front. I think being in the front by yourself would be very cool, and eerie.

You could always try, you never know.

You could be "devious" and have the person that wants to be in 2nd row wait with you in line for the front, then when you get to the front of the line, have the 2nd row person quickly get out of the line for the front and into the line for the second row. Kinda confusing... it should work though, if they are quick enough.

I have done the very thing Majin is describing. I do not think it as being bad. You actually wait longer for the seat then you normally would.

However, I would usually wait and ride solo in this case, unless of course they asked for a single rider.

I understand that it is cool to have a whole "group" ride together, but I have found it is not neccessary. I often ride a train before or after my group. Heck, if I ride a few trains before I can have that few minutes after the lap to myself.

Of course, I am also the guy who went to Michigans Adventure by myself.

I fool so feelish...

I don't see that it would be a big problem just to wait, and whichever line is shorter, just let people continue to go in front of you until you're where you want to be -- granted, that would be the second row of course, but explaining it to the people behind you might get a bit tedious after awhile. I agree to just wait and be on the next train -- it's neat to be all together, true, but after all, how much talking will you be doing on the ride, so what difference does it really make? Solo in the front isn't a bad compensation...
James K: I just spent almost the whole weekend and Monday by myself, riding all the rides solo (single rider all the way!). Nothing wrong with going by yourself :)

Just be sure to get out with some peeps sometime :)

It is so funny to see people try so hard to ride together. I mean, its so much work the way people do it. They get into a line, then as they get to the front they try to let people take cuts in order for them to ride together.

I would say don't worry about it, especially on Millennium Force. The ride isn't that long and the only time you will have to really talk to you friend is when you are going up the lift and we know how short that is.

Or just take your group to the middle and hope that there's a single in the front seat! Worked for me, I got front seat anyway, but my two friends were going to kill me for leaving them alone (both of their first rides)... that is until after the nausea passed and they wanted to ride again
