Something to note is that I suspect that this ride also self-selects out a significant number of people who believe it may be too much for them. No idea what that would be as a percentage, but there are a whole lot of watchers of the ride. With that in mind, perhaps the capacity doesn't "need" to be as high. I always thought that about the original ride, but with constant problems, it seemed hard to get a good feel for real waits based on consistent operation.

I went this morning for a few hours. Got in line at 9:50, got off my second ride (used FastLane both times) and back to my locker at 10:26. After I went and rode Maverick (which was a walk on for FL and 15 mins standby), The digital sign said 90 mins stand by and 15 mins FastLane. I was only at the park till 12:30, but I don’t recall seeing any downtime.
My overall opinion: TT2 is incredible. I was not expecting it to be this good. The trains are exceptionally comfortable, the initial launch seems to constantly gain speed and is much faster than it looks, the 101 mph backwards launch is just crazy, the spike feels like you are up there forever, and the snap of the twist over the top hat and subsequent drop are unreal and even slightly violent (in a good way). I didn’t even notice the “shakiness” that people complained about. Props to CP and Zamperla for this fantastic “reimagining”. Now if we could just get a better locker situation as the sheer number of people trying to buy one makes getting back to your stuff a bit difficult. (I know, use the Magnum lockers next time. Duly noted!)
