Power Tower Lights

This may have been discussed before.... But when my family & I went to C.P. I noticed the lights wern't changing colors! Anyone have any info. on that?

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I love it when three of the towers change and the other one doesn't! :)

I think the tower looks best when its all white. Now, if the lights were actually synchronized right, and it lit up the whole tower instead of only 1 spot in the middle and the top, then it would be a different story.

Yeah, I loved when Power Tower had bright color-changing lights in perfect consistency like MF. Power Tower's lights used to be stunning opening year.

It bothers me that CP doesn't keep up with these types of things. The park is obviously not run by perfectionists. Let's just hope that in 5 years, MF doesn't have a strip of half-functioning, chasing Christmas lights up the hill, and so on.

My name is craig, I used to work on power tower in the begining of the year and all I can tell you is that maintinance desnt have time to fix the lights with the dragster always being down!

The power tower lights were out of sync many times before TTD was even built.

You guys sound so upset just over the fact that the lights aren't "perfect" like they used to be. If you are bothered by thism you need to get a grip. The ride hasn't changed. I would rather have the lights off so when you ride it at night, you don't have bright lights being shined in your eyes. I like how the lights change colors and all but it doesn't bother me that they aren't functioning as well as they used to.

Haha...if you don't care about the lights, then why did you bother clicking on this topic?

I don't think anyone is upset here at all; I just think people are casually looking at things around CP and thinking, "Hey, I wish this was the way it used to be..."

I think it reflects poorly upon the park when things aren't kept up. In the same way people have complained about the theming disappearing on TTD and Disaster Transport, I can definitely understand why somone would post a topic concerning PT's lights.

A couple of years ago, I was watching the Summer Spectacular laser show, and half the firework shooters were working, and 2/6 twirling lights on the screen were working. The thought in my head was, "That looks trashy."
