POWER TOWER

Does anyone know how long it took to build the power tower?

I'm pretty sure that they tore down employee break area in late July of 97. Then in August the towers were laying in pieces where Jungle Larry's used to be. Then during bonus weekends and Halloweekends the towers started to go up. I'm pretty sure that I heard Don Miears say that it was going to be completed before Thanksgiving of 1997.

It was up by the end of October!

I went to CP in the end Aug. 97 and they had the foundations in and the steel was laying on the ground. Also i wne t there in March 98 and they were testing it. *** This post was edited by ANDREW on 1/22/00. ***
