POV Video???

Where can i get a POV video for the Millennium FOrce, and some of the other cedar Point coasters, but mainly the Millennium Force for Windows Media Player???

The roller coasters of Cedar Point. You can buy it at CP or on there website. I know it shows Blue streak, Mantis, MIlli, Maggie, Mean streak,Raptor, and Maby Gemini. It is a awesome video.

On CP's website under their online fun, they've got POV's for everything up to MF (excluding Disaster Transport)

Which reminds me, I was at CP on opening day, and waiting for Raptor in the evening (about the time it broke down and some people were stuck in the blocks at the far end for about 10-15). Anyway, some girl tried to give us her "3-d" glasses. And then, as though we didn't know what they were for, she told us they were for that "indoor one over there". Yeah, I'm not having anything to do with someone who refers to DT as the "indoor one over there"

Anyway, back from Tangent. CP has a whole bunch on their site, and Jeff used to have some on GTTP, hopefully they'll be making their way back soon because the quality on the CP ones was horrible.

Yes, because your knowledge of Cedar Point just places you above the general population. Next time you should skip the whole 2-hour Dragster line, because you've been following TTD's progress since it was three lone footers in an empty plot of land.

I know about those POV videos but unfortuantley they r all in quicktime format, and i need windows media player formated videos, urg they are so hard to find these days in Windows Media Player format!

Dragster is on there too

I NEED WINDOWS MEDIA FORMAT!!! I KNOW DRASTER HAS ONE IN WM FORMAT, BUT NONE OF THE OTHERS DO!!!

What's wrong with QuickTime?

If you're planning to steal the POV video, you should be able to import QT using any competent editing program. Or for another $30 you can buy QuickTime Pro, which will let you edit QT movies directly and gives you full-screen presentation playback on any monitor. Cheap, and probably one of the best investments you can make if you do anything with video...

Windows Media, on the other hand...half the time it won't even play back in proper lip-sync...

No, it doesn't. QT has nothing to do with virii.

You're probably getting a boot leg version because I've downloaded and downloaded again QT many times and never had a problem with it.

The ONLY place you should EVER go to get QuickTime is:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime

The actual download may come from some Akamai server someplace, but if you go through the front door and get it via Apple, you can be reasonably certain you have a clean copy.

Jeff will you be brining back the POV videos from Guide to the Point, because i speak for everyone when i say i love those videos. They give me my dose of coasters on the off season. And if you do bring them is there anyway you can get Raptor or Mantis On-ride videos?
