Posters now available

I was in the Speedzone today and noticed they have posters available now. There was 5 or 6 of them. Most everyone was of Dragster but one was Millennium Force and one with a picture of most of the park. They are really nice and i'm glad to see posters finally come to the park.

They are also selling the midway banners (I'm assuming are from last year because they are not brand new and show some use) that hung on the poles going down Dragster's launch. There is also one of Millennium Force with a Golden Ticket 2002 logo on it. They just have a whole barrel of the banners in the Speedzone.

EDIT: I forgot to mention prices. The posters were $9.95 and the Midway Banners were 1 for $70.00, 2 for $125.00 and 3 for $150.00. *** Edited 6/23/2004 8:08:59 PM UTC by fat chris***

Sweet, they finally realized posters would be a cool thing to sell. I'm most definately getting a banner on my next trip out there, I just have to find a way to get $70 in the next two days.

I, and others, suggested posters as a item that would sell several months ago.

How much is my "cut"? :)

lol! What more could I ask for? At least they are now available for the kiddies to hang on their bedroom walls and the elder fans to frame and such. Good move, CF!

The posters they send you for free upon request aren't that bad. I wonder if that offer still stands.

I think when they saw the marketing calendar posters going on eBay for $20 each, someone figured it out. Now if they start doing regular wall calendars, we'll really know they're listening. Put those great Dan Feicht photos to good use!

Yea, I bought a dragster banner last year.

It was supposed to be $70, but the worker told me it was $50 so I got it for $50.

They told me the banners cost $99.95. I like the plan old blue with Cedar Point on the bottom. It would be centerpiece of my room that I'm painting soon. The posters will be cool too. Finally something you can put to some use.

Off topic: Did they get the new collectors maps in yet? Last I checked they still had the 2003 ones.

Do they have any Raptor or Mantis posters. Favorite rides i gotta get them if they have them.

There is a poster of Dragster looking through Mantis' first loop. That's the only one I can think of.

I e-mailed Cedar Point. They said that the posters should be comming out on the Online shop (Marketplace) Within the week. (From June 26th)

I believe CP's 1997 promo calendar/poster featured Mantis, and these can be found on eBay occasionally, and will probably run you $15-$20 with shipping.

The banners are actually two sided. The plain blue one with Cedar Point on it that Gomez referred to has a pic of MF's drop and a big Golden Ticket Award on the other side of it. That's the one I got, and I have the Golden Ticket side facing outward. Or you could just buy two of them and put them side by side like they're intended to be.

Those are some awesome posters! Yeah - I own about 8 of those calendar posters and I'm a sucker for buying more. I just got a few more off ebay. I'm glad that they'll be selling those now. Thanks for the link.
