Top Thrill Dragster....Always number one
I’m pretty sure what Joe means is this message: "At 420 feet tall, Top Thrill Dragster is a whopping 110 feet taller than Cedar Point's world-renowned Millennium Force roller coaster (310 feet tall).THIS CAMERA IS TEMPORARILY DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE."

If you only knew how cheesed off people get when you sit around and complain about the Web cameras. I realize that by your profile you probably live somewhere crappy like Lima, but surely you must have something else to do.
It's being moved.

AYE JEFF! Im from Lima, then I moved out here to Oregon. Your right though, Lima is pretty crappy, so run down and so taken over by gangs and such. Pity.
Is that where you are Joe?
My guess is that they will put it on top of DT looking thru Kiddy kingdom. dah!!! After all it's what people in Lima want to see anyway!
"Cheesed off?"
Interesting expression.
Maybe they should relocate the cam to Lima, so we can all see the town and its various afflictions that are noted here in a not-so-delicate fashion.
Gee, Jeff, I've always viewed you as someone who's always been about maintaining a sense of decorum on this site. Dissing any town seems a tad out of line. But hey, it's your Web site after all.
I await my written tongue-lashing that surely will follow: After all, this is the kingdom of getting in the LAST WORD.
I am very pleased and thankful Cedar Point does supply three web cams for its faithful followers but if I ever had a chance to choose a new area I would have to pick Soak City. The view wouldn’t do us much good in the winter but I think an overview of the water park during the summer would be a great addition to the current web cams we have currently.
They had the webcam pointing toward the boring construction of Lighthouse Point, so surly they'll show maXair.

I don't like where its pointing right now. Its in a boring spot, I mean I know that it shows Dragster and Millennium Force, but thats about it. Lets face it, no one really wants to see the parking lot. If they move it to the front of the park that will be great because there isn't one that shows the front because the one on Dragster doesn't show that far.

The new view will be cool. Just be patient.
I see Jeff is still at it. The funny part about this is he don't like it when people make comments like that toward him or, even make comments like that on his site. But, it's alright for him to do.
You're doing a great job Jeff. Keep up the good work.
No wonder people go to other point sites for info and decent messages.
Jeff only does it cause he is tired of people hiting the refresh button on the park cam all day! And then writing on the site they notice a truck went by or something! If i was a webmaster of a website that had a forum I would be pretty tired of that happening too, especially for pointless reasons. Jeff is actually telling the truth. *** Edited 2/5/2005 3:26:37 PM UTC by randinator***
Boohoo! Jeff's picking on people again. What's worse, a comment like that or someone that sits there all day watching nothing happen on a Web cam?

I think it would be cool if the Cam would be on top of the highest ride in the park and that it would rotate,so that there would be lots of views.I think a small motor would be realtively inexpensive.
Now they have completely pulled the camera off of the website.
