Was driving down Woodville Road, in Oregon Ohio, and I passed a truck load of about 6 of these cars on a flatbed truck in the parking lot of Tom's Automotive.
I used my phone camera, so the cars are a little small in the photo.
Are they cars from Cedar Point? Does Cedar Point even send ride components out to be refurbished. Let me know what you think.
I am trying photobucket, hopefully these work.

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
They look similar but I doubt these are from Cedar Point. I don't see why the park would need to send them out for work. The cars in the picture don't seem to have the logo on the side that the Cad/Ant Cars do and they actually look new, probably from somewhere else. I would have stopped to ask because I would be interested in where they actually were from.
I saw some cars like the ones in the picture last summer in Oregon when I was driving through the area, but I don't remember if the ones I saw looked as nice as those. In fact, I don't remember for sure if they were even at the same place, though, I would assume they probably were. It would be interesting to hear if these are actually Cedar Point's.

Update on the Antique Cars. Just drove by Tom's Automotive today, 4-17, 2010, and the cars are definately from Cedar Point.
There are two more flatbed trucks with 4 different cars on them. I had my son get a close up photo of the decal on the side of the cars.
From the looks of it, these have not been re-painted yet.

^Really good pics. I don't know why they would have cars at an automotive place though.

Should have stopped in and asked. For all we know the guy (Tom) could have bought them from Cedar Point. While it is most likely that they are being worked on, they still could have been sold. Cedar Point Maintenance must be really behind if they are sending out Cad Cars to have work done. Especially if they are sending them to Toledo instead of using their normal outside guy in Sandusky.

Maybe they're soupin' up the engines on these bad boys and making them run like they did in the 60s. ;)
They need it too. Don't ask, but I know from experience that it takes 45 minuets to drive one of those from the front of the park to golds via perimeter road. :) (And they make it there with a full tank of gas.

I have personally never seen anyone put gas into the antique cars during operating hours. Does anyone know how many times during the day they need to add gas, or do they run all day on a full tank?
