Ponchos?

Hey guys,

I am taking a group to Cedar Point this year. We are preparing for the trip and we do plan to check the weather before we leave for Sandusky. However, just in case an emergency occurs and the weather results in rain, we are planning on taking ponchos. The poncho's that I have found similar to Cedar Point's are only about $5. Does anyone know how much the Poncho's at Cedar Point are? Will the $5 Poncho's be a better deal for the 14 kids, and my husband and I?

I just purchased one when I was at Cedar Point on the 3rd when it rained like crazy....the panchos at Cedar Point are $5 as well, so I would wait....then if it actually rains at the park your can purchase them there for the same price.

I've seen Disposable poncho's in the outdoors/camping section of Dicks, Target, etc for about $1 each. They are in small packets and fit in a pocket or purse easy.

+1 on the disposable ponchos... I got mine for 96 cents each at Walmart. I don't plan on using them, but if I have to, I have them.

Works great if you have a baby stroller. Just buy the 99 cents poncho's and throw them in the side pouches of the stroller. If it rains, break em out. If not, they didn't take up much space!

Side note: My wife thinks Jeff and Walt are SEXY!!

I've had three ponchos in my trunk for over a year now. I wish I would have had them with me on Sunday and Monday. $5 is a rip off, I'll take a $1 over that any day.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

"Ponchos in the Trunk" would make a good name for a punk band.

I'm not sure if they cost any more than the regular ponchos, or if they are the regular ponchos now, but I've seen some nice ones at the park this year. They even come with a little zippered bag to put the poncho in that can go on your belt loop.

It's called a running gag. I'm trying to establish it as my trademark . . . ;)
