POLL: Restaurants - Tried & True, or Try 'Em New?

With over 100 different places to get food at CP, it would take 30 days or more to sample them all.

When you go to CP, do you have your favorite restaurants and food stands that you have to go to every trip? Or do you like to try places you haven't tried previously? And what haven't you sampled that you've always meant to?

I have never had cheese on a stick. Need to do that.

I always head over to the Roundup (next to White Water Landing) afer a trip on MS for some chili cheese fries. My favorite sit down restaurant is Silver Dollar.

I gotta have 1 or 2 cheese-on-a-sticks every visit! I cannot wait till May.

I usually go over to Happy Friar across from Gemini. Since I'll be going a lot more this year though, I'll prob. check out some new places. :)

I usually try something new at the park each year, but my favorite place is the Pizza Patio near Raptor. I always have to have a slice 'cause it's the best pizza I've ever had! My favorite sit-down restaraunt is definitely Midway Market, just for the price. I try to catch Midway Market at least once a year.

I guess I'm the only one who is too cheap to pay the food prices in the park. I usually leave around 2 or 3 to have a meal in an off-point restaraunt (or even on-point but out of park). It ends up being cheaper and its a nice break from the park during the hottest/busiest part of the day.

Don't feel alone, MDOmnis. When my kids come with us we'll usually pack a cooler and have lunch in the car or sit at one of the restaruants at the Breakers. Feeding a 17 year old boy and a buddy on park food can put a major strain on the wallet, believe me.

Without upstops, airtime would have a whole new meaning!

Midway Market is my favorite place to eat. Good food, a wide variety, decent prices, and the Joe Cool Club discount all make it a worthwhile place to stop and eat. I usually get to Midway Market every other time I'm at Cedar Point.

EVERY TRIP - Midway Market

WHEN I CAN - Chuck Wagon, Beaches & Cream, Coyote Cody's (formerly Aunt Em's)

KEEP MEANING TO TRY - Charlie Brown's Cookout, Hofbrau

My favorite place to eat is probably the boathouse. If some other place could get sweet potato fries, I might be wooed from there.

I also have a tendency to get frozen custard.. YUM! I'm also a mountain dew fiend... I always gotta have a few Dews in some form or another.

I've always meant to try bbq chicken, midway market, and cheese-on-a-stick.

Who's afraid of the big bad... sea gull?

If I have the money, Bay Harbor Inn. Good prime rib there. Otherwise it would have to be Johnny Rockets and Silver Dollar Cafe, or Macaronies if pizza sounds good. Always have to get some fries back by Gemini, and sometimes a Cheese on a Stick by Mean Streak. I do have to try the Midway Market.
Man...no one is giving the boathouse's ribs any press time...so here it is...Yummmmmm!...i will need to watch my budget working at CP this summer!

Happy Friar for some cheese fries, the frozen custard in Frontier Town, and a corndog in Frontier town are staples.

I've tried Coasters, but hope to try Midway Market this year.
