Police Patches

I was looking around on eBay and found some Cedar Point Police patches up for auction. Does anyone know why there are two different styles: Silver Patch and Gold Triangle Patch? Is one patch an older style patch that is no longer used? Is one patch for the full time police force and one for the seasonal police force?

Maybe one is for a higher ranking officer?

It was different in 04, but before then, armed cops had the silver badge, and the unarmed one has the yellow one.

Boy, doesn't it seem kind of um... dangerous to have cop patches on the internet. I mean, anyone could impersonate a cop with a badge.

I can call my local radio station and convince them that im from SBC and tell them I need to know what time they have thier "call and win a million dollars" "congrats your caller #x" hours by sending them a piece of letterhead that you can get by going to SBC's office. Anything is possibible if you know how to do it.

I would bet money that you couldn't. Especially with a "million dollar call".

I was just useing that as an example. Like the calls to win free tickets and such. And fastball, just because it is possibible dosent mean i'd do it.

Just making sure.
