Anybody know? They were ready to shoot the guy it seems. They had their guns drawn and kept telling him to hit the deck. You never had to see this kind of crap at Cedar Point in the past.
I've actually seen someone get taken out of the park either because he was drunk or on drugs. He was yelling. "Wait, I have a son! No. I need my son", and he mumbled random stuff. He was put into a police car and taken away(with his son) My cousins and I tried not to laugh. We were just entering the park too! What a great way to start our weekend at CP!
Favorite coaster: Millennium Force

I had a similar experience actually, but it was over 20 years ago, so this is proof that things aren't necessarily worse off today because of the 1 incident you had.
I was leaving the park with my Dad in our car, probably 7-8 years old. We were driving on the causeway, and there were police cars surrounding a stopped car. The police made a strong motion to my dad to stop, but we were already far too close. Each officer had a drawn gun pointing at the guy in his car, one pointing in our direction. My dad told me to get down under the dash, and I was very scared.
I believe they ended up handcuffing the guy and signaled us to move on by. While very scary, I guess it should be comforting that police are on top of things.

Haha. This made me think of Dan Aykroyd in Trading Places.

Maybe he asked for ice water in a regular-size cup.
