PointBuzz Article: Put-In-Bay

I just noticed this on the homepage this morning, although it's been there a few days: http://www.pointbuzz.com/putinbay.htm Pretty informative article!

Some family and family friends more-or-less stumbled upon the place right after my first CP trip back in 2001. From what I learned then, basically during the daytime the island is pretty good for families... at night, however, it gets pretty crazy as the alcohol flows freely for everybody. Needless to say when my friends and myself are all 21, we'll be making a stop at Put-In-Bay during the summer ;)

What's your Put-In-Bay story?

Just a reminder to periodically check the front page and the What's New page for updates (I know a lot of people head straight to the forums). Updates have been slower this summer, but there's been some recent additions.

I spent a week one day at Put In Bay. Good times. If you are under 21 it may not be as impressive to you.

Faust and Lewis anyone?

Faust and Lewis were great, unfortunatly they split up a few years ago. I think Faust returned to PIB a few times by himself, but I haven't seen him recently. Great stuff though, "Save the Beer" was one of my favorite songs from them.

We saw Faust and Lewis...in Key West of all places...during one of their last performances. We were walking by Sloppy Joe's and looked at the marquee for the night and lo and behold they were scheduled to play.

Needless to say we grabbed a table and watched them the entire night with some other Put-In-Bay Veterans.

Those guys were funny but they were hilarious when you had a few beers in you.
