Point hotels

I'd like to stay at one of the hotels on the peninsula this July when I visit CP. Can you tell me which is the best value for the money? I'm on a tight budget. What are the average rates for the hotels?

I'm staying at the Breakers in late May, and for one suite with tax the price is $244 per night. I remember that two rooms are more expensive than one suite, so the room at the Breakers can't be more than $120 or so...

I'm looking at the 2000 Cedar Point Resorts Newsletter...

The cheapest room you can get at an on-site resort is a room in the old part of Breakers (R2D: 5/12-6/7) for $115, it goes to $135 for 6/8-9/3. A standard R2Q in Tower/East runs $165 and $195 respectively.

Also, a Breakers Express room can be obtained for as little as $59.

Check out the new Breaker's Express. That is were we are staying and it is about $50 cheaper then SandCastle and The Breakers itself.
