Please help me with some advice.

Hello Cedar Point Junkies. (and please don't take that as a put down, it's meant as a praise) I've wanted to go to Cedar Point for the last 2 and a half years, when I first found out about it. Now it looks like I will finally be going. Here's what I need. We will be there all day from Sunday to Tuesday all day on those days. We will go into the park on 2 days. Seeing as it will be July. 7th of Saturday to 10th of Tuesday to be exact. Now some of you have been to Cedar Point ALOT. I want atleast one day to be a less crowded experience. Which day would you bet on being so? Thanks. We are going Sunday no matter what. Is monday or tuesday better in your opinion for shorter lines?
Monday and Tuesday's are a lot better than weekends. I'm not guaranteeing that it will not be crowded, but it will probably be slower than Sunday. Have fun!:)

I tend to think that the closer you get to the middle of the week, the less people there will be in the park. I'd go Tuesday. Also, it would give you a break on Monday.

Thanks. yeah that was my original idea. Skip Monday. Actually we are getting close to deciding to pay the extra money to do Soak City on Monday. Then back to the park on Tuesday it is. Thanks you both for your opinions. If I can find this thread, I'll report how it went next month.
Sunday will likely be your most crowded of the three days. Do Soak City then.

Not only will you have lower Monday crowds, but you'll also save money this way. You can buy a pass good for two consecutive days for $62 ($52 if you have a Getaway Guide)

Duane, as always being the economic brain. ;) Anyway, do as he says, and get discount AAA Soak City tickets for Sunday (or whatever day you go). Just so you know get to Soak City early- if it is a nice day, it will be packed. BTW: Soak City is $18 through AAA and a Ride and Ride Again (as Duane described) is $53 through AAA. If you don't have AAA, get it, or have someone who does get the tickets for you.

Have fun!

I already plan to get the 2 day pass. But I was going to use it on Sunday and Tuesday. Consecutive days? Does that mean I can't do the Sunday/Tuesday thing? I don't know if I can handle finally getting to Cedar Point after 3 years, and soaking all day the first day. I'd have my mind on the coasters and would not have any fun! ;D

Can I buy the ride and ride again tickets at the entrance? Just asking so I'm all prepared.
Mea culpa. It's been awhile since I've bought one of these, and I mis-remembered. I just called the park for confirmation and the Ride and Ride again is good for ANY two days of the season.

Hit the coasters Sunday and have a blast!

Thanks. I realize I should call the park info for some of the questions I'm asking here. So please excuse me and if its something I can find out by calling, just don't waste your time. (I don't want to get flamed by someone tired of hearing the same questions over and over) I'm going to give the park a call and ask there. Thanks to everybody whose answered.
No problem. Just so happens it's a free call on my cell phone and I was curious anyway. :)

So when is this topic going to be closed? When I posted this kind of question I got hosed. What's up?
