I'm going to be in Cedar Point in 9 days as we speak, and I'd really like to know what are the "airtime" or "floater" seats on each coaster? I know coasters like Diasastor Transport doesn't have one, but I know Magnum, Millennium Force--I believe the seat is 5-1--but not sure, etc. does. Thank you!
On Magnum the ejector seat is 1-3.

MF, the seat is in the rear of the train, I believe. MrScott won't ride back there ever again.

I saw on the short National Geographic special clip, that the best (probably longest, not most violent) airtime seat was 5-1.
rode Maggie about 8 times with Magnum Jerry and Jugga John. 1-3 is the best seat and is the seat known as The Ejector seat.
1st Car - 3rd row...
Although I do enjoy having my thighs bruised, I also enjoy riding in 6-2... Possibly more than riding in the front...

I rode in 6-1 the other day, and I do have to say it was a pretty nice ride. It floated more through the bunny hops.
I do like the ejector air though.
I rode Magnum in the Ejector seat twice and it was so rough, it was horrible, I hated it and I probably wont ride Magnum ever again...

If you are prepared for the ejector seat, its a great time...
If you haven't rode it before... Well yes, its quite painful
When I talk to my friends who have only rode magnum once because it was too painful, I almost always find they were in good ol' 1-3...

1-3 is way over-rated, it's to rough...6-2 is the best seat in the house, and hardly anyone knows about it. :)
I ALWAYS take the very back seet of any ride. Its the best airtime compared to anywhere, on every ride. Except Mean Streak, but thats a whole 'nother story.

I've always heard car 1, seat 3, but I've always been more impressed by car 3, seat 1...

I was going to post a topic like this, but I was not going to be at CP for another month. Anyways, I would like to know the best places to sit on most of the coasters and thrill rides also. I really wonted to know were to sit on Magnum, (so thanks) because some times it is great and some times I get off and say I can't believe that I thought it was great a couple of hours a go. I only go to CP once a year and when I am there I try to make the best of it. So any advice on where to sit on the coasters and thrill rides would be greatly appreciated.
RIDE ON, and ON and ON and ON and ON and ON...
Usually on coasters I find that the best seats are in the middle. Unless its an indoor or smaller coaster. Then front seat is the best. But I will never ride front seat on a coaster like the Magnum again.
I love that coaster. Besides for MF, it is my favorite. One year my boyfriend and I went to CP and rode the Magnum 3x in a row. The first 2 times I loved it. The 3rd time he convinced me to sit in the front seat. (1,1). I don't think it hurt as much as the air being in my face made me really sick. Never ever again.
But on the smaller or indoor coasters, the air really doesnt get to you. Like the woodie the woodpecker roller coaster at Universal studios in Orlando, Florida. Now that is a fun little coaster. lol.
