There are two promotions Cedar Point are currently running for Platinum Passholders. The first is that Season Passholders can "Bring a friend" for $14.99 from now through Labor Day and Sept 7-9. The other is the last ride night on friday night for Platinum Passholders. In which they say you can "bring a friend".
My question is... I've got 3 friends, will all 3 be able to get in for $14.99 and all 3 be able to join me in the ride night?
I do believe it's only one friend per pass. And I'm sorry to hear you only have 3 friends. ;-)

It's about quality not quantity.
I submitted a question via the internet form and received a response stating that the offer "is NOT limited to one ticket per passholder. You may bring as may friends as you wish"
"Bring a friend guests can enjoy overlapping Exclusive Ride Time when coming with a Platinum Passholder. (Friday 8/24)"
"Bring a friend guests can be admitted early with a Platinum Passholder."
It says guests, not guest.
from CP response to my e-mail
The Bring a Friend discount applies to as many friends as you want to bring with you. Each friend would pay $14.99 for admission and would be able to join you (if you have a Platinum Pass ) for both Early Entry and Extra Ride Time after hours (August 24, 2012).

Any chance I could have you forward that e-mail. I sent an e-mail requesting the same information a few days ago and have yet to receive a response. It's not that I'm not taking your word for it, but I wouldn't mind having a official communication on hand.
Thanks.

I have a season pass bring a friend ticket today. I get in at 9 am can my friend scan her ticket at that time so I don't have to stop riding coasters at 10 am to leave the park, get stamp, stand in line and get back into the park. I could lose an hour of ride time.
I've seen this question asked on the CP Facebook page and the answer was that friends can also take advantage of early entry.
If for some reason that turns out not to be the case, then she should still be able to get through the front gate and into the park where she can wait at the checkpoint.
Can you buy this pass for more than one day? I have some family staying for 4 days?

I called CP today, and the answer is "You are able to bring one friend per platinum pass per day and that friend would be able to get in for the early ride time, as well."
I just called Cedar Point and you CAN NOT bring a friend for $14.99 any day. You can for $39.99. They did have a special for $19.99 on special days in May.

FYI, the person that wrote about the $14.99 deal wrote it in 2012, so yeah, staying current on deals is important.

Someone doing the emailing should maybe actually check the rules before replying. A person who brought a lot of friends hoping for a discount and ERT would be pretty disappointed.
A person who brought anyone expecting a discount and ERT on any day other than August 24, 2012, would only have him/herself to blame. Said bring-a-friend discount + ERT offer was only for a special passholder appreciation event. Not every day is August 24, 2012.
And this is why people asking here about such matters makes me cringe. Someone not noting the dates would be sorely disappointed during a 2015 visit.
The park will always be interested in taking your money and will always be willing to give up to date info if you call or email.
