Did anyone else notice the renewal for platinum passes online has an "instant renewal" feature for $145 where it lets you use your 2010 card, so you don't have to go to pass processing in the spring? This is awesome! I dread pass processing. Gotta go find my wallet and buy next year's tix for the whole family!
My wife says I am, in fact a commercial. While at Michigan's adventure, I can never get that *^&%# "FUN AND ONLY" jingle out of my head! They are really obnoxious playing it over the PA.
Speaking of Michigan's adventure, when are they going to get on the same computer system as the rest of the cedar fair parks. It's a huge PITA to go to that window every visit and have to get paper tickets issued from our platinum passes. Especially when that group sales bldg is jammed full, as it always seems to be.
I wonder how many times you can use the instant renewal feature without getting a new picture taken.

Good question. I have in my possession my season passes from 2001 thru 2007 (when pictures were still on the passes themselves) and each of those passes has the same picture of me. So I would assume that they will be using the same picture for several years with the instant renewal. I guess I still look the same, just a "little" less hair.
Good question indeed. My son is 12, his picture is from about 2-3 years ago. Ok for now, but how about a few years from now?
I get usually have to remove my cap or sunglasses when I enter. I've seen my picture on the sceen and it's obvious it's me even with those items. Point is a kid will certainly change appearance.
I headed into the empty season pass office yesterday with my 2010 Platinum pass and my debit card.
$145.00 and 2 minutes later I was done.
Thats not to say it will work next season. My 2010 pass worked fine getting me into Knotts parking in December and May..but then wouldnt work to get me into KI on my 1st visit this season. Guess we will have to wait till next year to find out!!

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
