Platinum Pass

The platinum season pass at Cedar Point gives you a free upgrades from Fast Lane to Fast Lane Plus (upgrade at park). Does anyone know if there is a daily limit? Meaning if they sell out of Fast Lane Plus, will they still upgrade you?

Click on the "compare all benefits" button. Short answer, yes, platinum pass holders can get a fastlane plus for the price of a fastlane. When they say "restrictions may apply" I would take to mean that if they sell out, you can't get the upgrade.

I have read before that once they sell out, that is it and no upgrades.

Yeah, I'll probably just pay for the Plus. Got 2 difference stories calling in. One said that I could buy the Fast Lane online and get upgraded at no charge at the park, and another said I couldn't buy online and I had to buy the Fast Lane at the gate and get the upgrade.

I was told they aren't doing the free upgrades this year. I had to pay full price for FLP.

Unfortunately with the way they oversell it I find it highly unlikely this would happen.

Fast Lane availability and pricing fluctuates throughout the season. We encourage you to pre-purchase your Fast Lane on our website, which you can do by visiting the following link: https://www.cedarpoint.com/tickets-passes/fast-lane
Note that since you are a Platinum Passholder, you are able to purchase Fast Lane Plus at the price of Fast Lane Regular. This discount is only valid for purchase in the park and can only be redeemed by the passholder, i.e. only the passholder may use the purchased Fast Lane.
