Planning a trip to the point...

Hello everyone! I am planning to come up to Cedar Point this summer. I live in North Carolina, and I would appreciate it if ya'll could give me some info about where to stay, when to come, and anything else you think a first-time visitor to the greatest amusement park in the world might need to know. Thanks in advance...Doug.

Look around this site and it's forum boards and you will find the answers to almost any question you have. My advice would be to come in May or early June or the last week in August. Stay at a CP hotel if you can afford, it and make use of the resort packages if they work for you.

All I know is go on a Weekday during March 18-30 or June 7-18 and the lines should be small except for MF.

i stayed at the breakers in the chep rooms and we fit 4 people in there VERY snugly...but it is in the park so you dont have to leave if you dont want to and its a very short walk to the park...

March 18-30 hmmmmm.... hmmmmm.... Aren't we in that time period right now? LOL!! Anyway I'm sure you meant May 18-30.

I would suggest making time to visit Soak City and Challenge Park. They are nice additions to the Cedar Point line up.

Stay at the Breakers. It's worth it. I'd do two days at the park on Tuesday and Wednesday in the end of May or the first three weeks of June. After the 4th of July the vacation season hits full swing.

And remember: NEVER go on a Saturday in the summer!
