-grins- Now THAT would be awesome... no lines, no waiting.
Looking forward to Cedar Point- July 4th-5th, 2007!
That's what my friends and I are doing this year because we wanted to try a unique way to experience the Point. We've all grown up there, so now that we're older and can afford it, we're splurging. Should be fun and a nice change.
I'm gonna find out when you going Tim, and then I'll sneak in with your group when nobody is looking.:)

Hey! Even though i work at the park for just ONE season, i know more about that place than 99% of people who visit there.
Examples:
There are 5200 bolts (and one roll of duct tape) Holding TTD together
4 million cubic yards of concrete in the midways
29,000 gallons if ice cream are consumed over the course of a season

I hope you enjoy your trip to CP! We went on Memorial Day last year and it was nice. And all that stuff about being crowded if it is a nice day wasn't true for memorial day last year. Last year it was 93 Degrees and the longest wait was 45 minutes for Dragster, and Millennium was broken, so Dragster would have been like a sub 30 minute wait. However, that was on a Monday, so I guess that a Saturday is going to be more crowded, so maybe they will be right. Honestly, weekdays will let you get a lot more out of your visit, but with your husband's job stuff, I guess that is kind of out of the question. Hey, a weekend trip is way better than no trip at all! If you decide to do TTD or MF and it is crowded on Friday night, you can get in line right before closing and they will let you stay in line until you ride it. Also, I would recommend requesting a getaway guide from CP ( http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/visit/brochures.cfm ). We got one last year and it had a buy one get one free starlight ticket coupon, a $10 off coupon for our hotel room, a buy one get one free game coupon that would come in handy on a two person game (like one of those squirt the target games) so that you are guaranteed a prize for the price of one person, and some other cool coupons. Also, if you are really looking for cheap lodging, Breakers Express is nice. We stayed there last year and we are staying there again this year for our trip. Reguardless of which hotel you stay at, as long as it is on site, be sure to get up bright and early to use your early entry. This year it is suppossed to be a whole hour (not sure if they let you in at 8:30 and let the general public in at 9:30, or if they let you in at 9:00 and make the public wait until 10). That will probably get you a ride on MF and Maverick and maybe even Skyhawk before the general public is even in the park! And you can check the trip reports forum in CP Place to get an idea of how the crowds were last year. Enjoy your trip!

Four discount funday tickets to Cedar Point: $130.96
Overnight stay at Breakers Express: $70
Riding rides the size of skyscrapers while "legally" breaking the local speed limit: Priceless
Great tips! I did already request the fun guide, and I think I'll have my aunt get one too, so we have two to use. They make it much cheaper for fun things. I couldn't remember if the starlight coupon was B1G1F or half off, but in my nifty lil' budget plan, I actually have 3 price columns based on coupons. 1 is paying full price for admission on the evening, and full price during the full day. 1 is getting the starlights b1g1 half off, and the full day at $5 off per ticket, and the other column is for getting starlights b1g1f, and the regular tickets at $10 off.
It doesn't end up making a huge difference, but hey, any penny saved works great. :)
