Plain Dealer new ride story

The Plain Dealer also had a story on the new coaster in this morning's edition. The link is:

This is exactly what Cedar Point wants, and probably why the announcement has been delayed for so long. Imagine if they had announced the new ride when track first arrived. Even if its a 400-footer, there would have been a big buzz in the press for a week or so, then it would have died down until it opened next year. But this way, CP teases everyone by saying nothing at all, which translates into free public exposure. The longer they wait to announce the ride, the longer they hold the attention of the news media. Its free advertising.

"So is the unnamed new ride, which will begin to go up near the Magnum next week, as major as Wicked Twister or Millennium Force?"

Hmmm....I think the announcment will be next week. right before they acctually start building this thing.
