The Point’s latest commercial is tremendous. Kudos to Tony and his team for producing a vibrant, emotional, impactful ad.
It was played for the audience at the Winter Chillout and agreed, first class spot on marketing. The tag line is "A Place Like No Other", not "Place by the Lake". You can watch the video on the CP website at https://www.cedarpoint.com/vacation
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
It's a quantum leap from the Cedar Fair mass marketing ads. The ads in the 80's and 90's (cure for summertime blues, etc.) were memorable and effective; this is very impressive work!
Promoter of fog.
I was blown away by this ad when they showed us at Chill Out. Outstanding.
CP Coaster Top 10: 1. Steel Vengeance (40 rides to date) 2. Top Thrill Dragster (191 launches to date, 4 rollbacks) 3. Magnum XL 200 4. Millennium Force 5. Maverick 6. Raptor 7. GateKeeper 8. Valravn 9. Rougarou 10. Gemini
Here's a link of the same ad on YouTube. I get a little more emotional watching it than a manly man should admit. :)

I feel like this ought to be narrated by Tim Allen. It seems to be similar to the Pure Michigan ads.
Overall, quite good.
This can't possibly be Yellow Submarine (didn't they end that contract years ago?) as this is leagues ahead of anything they could produce. So bravo to whoever they have hired because this is good stuff. I like it!
30-second spots for Steel Vengeance are starting to show up on television.
I understand artistic license and all that, but could they have faced the first drop in the right direction? What we’re seeing is clearly a view from the lake.
Nice spot tho.
Unfortunately it looks like Skyhawk and possibly Gemini will be sacrificed to fit those mountains in. But the skyline will be worth it.

He looks so sad riding by himself. I imagine riding with a cape is a bad idea right? :-D
But isn't that what some people call Zen?
Alone.
In a train.
Promoter of fog.
I believe it's called Zen.
And I can confirm it's strange, but oddly fun (got one on I305 for my 100th coaster).
