pirate ride and bear country

i was sad to see the pirate ride go. it was always made a point (no pun intended) in my family to ride it everytime we went to cp. why did they take it out? i want to know. all the games in there are really stupid. i wanted to play some games while my bro and dad where on blue streak (just got off raptor)and i went in and i didn't even play a game. i am a video game lover but i never even heard of some of those games. i was also sad to see berenstein(sp?) bear country leave. that was one of my favorite things when i was little. why was that shut down?

I am not sure why they took out the bear country but I think they removed the Ocean Motion because of popularity reasons. But you are right about those games; they suck!

They took out Bear Country because Snoopy was coming, and they didn't want two mascots at once.

Ocean Motion is still back there near the beach... it was the Pirate Ride, and I'm not sure why they took that out

Ummm... Ocean Motion is in the same place its been since it was installed in 1981. It has nothing to do with the Pirate Ride, an old dark ride that was in the building between Blue Streak and Raptor.

I meant that Ocean Motion is still there...
It was The Pirate Ride that was taken out, and I don't know exactly why.
Sorry about that.

I heard that Bear Country was removed because the contract that CP had with whoever owns the Bearnstien Bears had run out. But I could be wrong.
