Hey Jeff, is there anyway you could possibly post more pictures on here from years past? im not talking like old black and white (but those would be cool too), im thinking like 80s and 90s before MF and even Magnum, before they rearragned everything and the Giant Wheel was behind the laser screen.
Pretty Please?
The world looks better at 420 feet in the air... first ride May 14th, 2005
only 997 laps left on MF..
So i resurrect dead post... is that a bad thing?

The pictures on the Schmidty website under the Miscellaneous section are great, unfortunately some of them display a "This page cannot be displayed" when clicked on to enlarge.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Wow talk about a blast from the past. The Jumbo Jet, sky wheel, pirate ride... amazing how much the park has changed in 30 years! What I wouldn't give to hear that evil laugh at the end of the Pirate ride one last time... lol.

There's been talk for a while of a huge History section coming here, Jeff and Walt just haven't had the chance to do it yet. I don't doubt that it will rock when they do get it done.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I just noticed in the funhouse pictures there was an upside down building next to the fun house. Does anyone know what that was? Was that part of the funhouse?

The upside down building reminds me of Wonderworks in Orlando. That building is cool as hell!
The upside down building was part of the fun house. CP's fun house was called the "Upside Down Fun House".
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
The funhouse is one of my first memories of Cedar Point. I was too afraid to slide down the tubes to exit. I remember my mom had to take me back out through the entrance because I was too scared.
You may be able to find more pics of the era you're looking for here:

...especially under the archives and lost rides.

I am saying: Oh my gosh...I thought I was the only one who was afraid of that!!! My dad had to slide down with me! What was it that made that so frightening?! Ha?!
