I have 6 pictures from AAA day for those who are interested. Warning - they are not exciting pictures. There are no MF pictures, per CP's request (not to me directly, but to others). Just to clarify, because I know someone will get upset, Walt and I have talked about his site and posting updates for it. Under most circumstances, it's not appropriate to plug your site here, and I consider this on a case by case basis.

Now CP controls the general public posting pictures of MF from a public day huh? Wow,they certainly wouldn't want any secrets about that big blue thing on the skyline of sandusky to get out,someone might find out it's a rollercoaster...
Some people just know how to play the game... that's why so many members of this site were invited to the media event.

I doubt anyone would be greatly upset if I posted MF pictures. But as I am trying to build (and, as the case may be, rebuild) my relationship with the park, I will keep them to myself for now. Besides, most of them are on the 3 rolls still out for development!

Yeah, and when I tried to get into the media event for a college newspaper we write for, I was told we had to be "credentialed media". Are there still any openings for people from this site for the media event?
My point was this, if it was a public day (AAA Day and basket day for that matter, the people were "civilians") why did CP ask just Gemini not to post his pictures or did they have some sign up for all to see, that was my point,I wondered how they stopped 30000 people from taking pictures.

CP DID NOT have any signage or other "requests" that pictures from the "public" week-ends be kept off the websites. I know Jeff was asked politely not to put up any pictures until after the media day on May 11. Gemini being a frequent visitor to this site has also decide to honor CP's request.
Yes, people could and there may well be pictures of MF from this past week-end floating around the internet.
As I have stated before, this site is respected by CP for the loyal following and the quality of the content that Jeff has established.
There are plenty of pictures which Jeff himself could put on this site but out of respect for CP he won't.
It is more VALUABLE to Jeff and the long term growth of this site, that Jeff respects CP wish.

Is it not fair? If you get lucky and get to see MF upclose during construction, wouldn't you agree to the clause that you cannot post pictures until May 11th? It's just a matter of respect.
I'm all for the "playing by the rules "part too. Priveleges that are given can just as easily be taken away. Why do you think this site has earned a reputation for quality? It's because of the integrity of those people behind the scenes that keep it running. Besides, what does it prove anyway, if any of you put your pictures up early?

Think of it this way... If Jeff, Dan, Jeff Spartan, etc. were to post those pictures without regard to CP's request not to post them, then they would most likely NOT to be invited back to the park for any further & future construction tours.

You guys seem to have blown this out of proportion as usual. All I asked was if CP had some sign or something asking people not to put pics they took from AAA day on the web or something, that was all. I didn't ask him to post them,it just was hard for me to believe they asked the 30,000 people there not to show them.
