picture problems

i found a picture i want to put up but it wont show up when i post

You just have to put up a direct link to it.

I think he means in his profile.

Pictures have to be approved before they will show up in your profile. If you mean an avatar, like what you see in a person's post to the right hand side, there are maximum requirements that can be found here

Be sure that you're uploading it as your "avatar." It must be a .gif image, 90x90 pixels max, and 5 kb max.
