Picture of Lights

I know this has been discussed but I could not find it. Does anyone have a picture of the countdown tower lights on Dragster? I have been watching the cam and have not been able to catch them on and I have not seen them yet. Any pic would help, Thanks!

I have a couple questions having to do with the lights...

When do the lights go on, and how? Do they go on before the launch? Or as the train rolls up the tophat...im sorry if this is a dumb question, but i just dont know...and do they go on all at once, or one set at a time?

When the ride is testing, do they go on? And how long do they stay on during the ride, untill it hits the brakes, or at the top?

They are countdown lights, so they count down until the lanuch... So it goes top two yellows, next two, next two, then green as you lanuch. (well, just before you lanuch). Then they turn off after a few seconds. And all of that happens pretty fast, so when you see that top set of yellow light up, get ready!

Yeah, whenever the train lanuches, the lights are working.

Back on topic - thanks for the pic, Pagoona. That's the first close-up shot of the lights I've seen. Interesting how each light is really a cluster of 7 smaller lights. Perhaps that's part of the reason they took so long to get here...

Dragster is back...and better than ever!

Staying on the light topic - why are there only 4 rows (thought they were going to match the tree by the launch).

They did, the top to rows on the christmas tree by the track are pre-stage and instrutions the other four rows that are the yellow and green lights. So the tower only has the yellow and green lights.

When TTD was announced they had 6 rows of lights in the drawings and on the top of the CP website. I think what changed was the tree by the launch track. It's better this way because when you're in the park most of the time you only see the top 4-5 catwalks anyways.
