I just wanted to share this map of 1977 Cedar Point...

It wasn't that is the original Wildcat located in the current location of the stadium. It was there from 1970 to 1978. In 1979, the new Wildcat opened on the site of Jumbo Jet. In 1985 Wildcat was moved to it's current location to accommodate the installation of Avalanche Run. You may be thinking of a different coaster. Perhaps Scamper that was located where Corkscrew is now.

WOW! Both them maps are cool! I did not ever know they had 2 sky rides??? They should do that again withOUT taking anything out.. Wouldn't it be cool to be taken fro the cork screw to Mavericks area of the park? I think it would be nice to not have to walk every time we want to go to frontier town ,, just an idea ..
