physics day at cedar point

i know physics day is this thursday, (and yes i will be there)but i have one question, is it closed to the GP or is it sitll open to everyone, i would asume that it is still open to the GP bc there are only so many physics classes going but it would be sweet if it wasn't,

The park is open to the public on Thursday...just as if it were any other day of the operating season.

Kids, kids everywhere! There are some roller coasters that they are not allowed to bring their test/measurement equipment with them on the ride. Millennium Force is definitely one, and in all likelihood, Dragster will be as well.
Well my school's physics day was yesterday 5-19, they all went down tehre and had to do a 10 page packet.
Does anyone know if the physics day kids stay until closing, or if they tend to leave the park earlier?
It depends on the group. My son's school stays until closing. I know because I had to pick him up at 1 am from school!

i went yesterday and today and on both days there were physics kids. I asked a bunch of groups and a bunch of them had to leave at 6
Most of the rollercoasters have a 'loose articles' clause on their posted rules. Wicked Twister, MF, TTD, Raptor, Mantis, and I think Magnum all have a no backpacks, testing materials, purses, stuffed animals, etc. that can be dropped on the ride, be stolen, fly out during launch, etc. etc. etc. Best thing for the physics kiddies to do: Rent a bin at the front of the park. They're like $3, can be accessed all days, and can hold more than one persons belongings. I'd suggest getting those for classes... easier... as for the WT, things that are attached and are small (fannie packs, computers in the vests, etc.) are acceptable as long as they are ATTACHED TO THE PERSON. If they are not, it poses a problem for things flying out from the wind and such...
Today wasn't a bad day, a bit chilly, but the sun felt nice.

Although i was all prepared to be irratated all day with high school antics, i really didn't have any problems with the crowds today, even if they were a bit young. I will say that the crowd did seem a bit heavier than normal on a May Thursday. Perhaps it is a result of both a major new coaster as well as all the kiddies.

I remember going to Physics Day last year. My class didn't go on the actual one though (thank God!). It was great because my teacher let us pick the packet we wanted to do. We had to do like 8 pages, so the class had me go through the ones she had, and pick out the ones that I already knew most of the answers too. We were done with the packets before the end of class that day. Good times...it almost makes me miss High School...almost.
