Physics Day, anyone?

Does anyone here have any idea when Physics Day(s) tend to happen at CP? we are planning a trip for a lot of people and it would be nice if it doesnt collide with too many Physics Day students...

Physic day is on Friday May 10th. Math and Science day for middle school students is also on this day. Bands (as you may know) play every day of the season including Bonus Weekends and Halloweekends! Those are the only school based events for the 2002 season. Hope this helps!

my physics day is may 28th

Why would it be a week earlier than it was last year? I was thinking that it would be on Thursday the 16th...because I think it was the 17th last year...

They really should just call May "Physics Month" as every time I have gone there (first operating week in May), there are always groups of kids with their protractors and folders in hand.  Not that I'm saying anything bad about the kids being there... I just found it interesting that even though there's technically an "official" Physics Day, that there are still plenty of physics groups there on other May weekdays.

I would be going on physics day but there is an AP Calculus test on the offical day, so TPS (or at least my school) is going a differnt day, I can't wait!

Is Physics Day normally overly busy...what are the average q-times??  I am looking at that day to go because I want to go with some of my college friends, but we get out of school that weekend?

If you're not there to participate for Physics Day, then don't go. Many people can tell you about the tens of thousands there that day. Just think about a normal day in May, but tack on several hundreds of schools in a 150 mile radius that are sending 25+ kids each...yeah, it'll ge kinda crowded. :)

I'm going anyway because it will give me a chance to redeem my Season Pass, and it's a chance to get to CP before I get out of school. If you do go, don't plan on getting a whole lot of rides in. I plan to try, but I'll save the power riding for Coaster Mania. :)
