Photography

I was just wondering how many of you are really into photography at Cedar Point or any other park. I myslef have an Olympus professional camera with a 55mm lens and a generic 90mm-230mm zoom lens, and I also have a HP Photosmart215 digital camera. I was also wondering if there some kind of way we could all share our photography online or something? Thanks.

http://www.pbase.com is a popular spot for a lot of people. If you use it, please give them a couple bucks to cover the costs.

It's very hard to drink all day...
Unless you start first thing in the morning.

Jeff, that's a good idea to set up a photo center so we can suck up all your...space? :-)
How do you people get away with taking pictures on rides? They seem strict about it and I never have to courage to try.

I've taken pictures on every ride except Wicked Twister, Millennium Force, and Mantis. The reason I take on-ride pictures is not to be rebellious, rather the reason I take them is because they always (most of the time) turn out so awesome. Some of my pictures I don't believe I took. Still trying to convince myself. My favorite ride to snap a few photos on is Mean Streak. The reason you shouldn't take photos on the ride is for other's safety, I realize that. I don't have an excuse for breaking this rule other than great pics.

Anonymous, does that mean you've taken pictures on DT?

Yes I have. Very few turn out, and it's my least favorite ride to take pictures on simply for that reason. I do have two or three, nonetheless.

Guess I'll have to take my camcorder now! After all....it's visit number six for me when I go back! It's cool though, I have a digital hi8 cam so when I take my videos...I can stop action at ANY place and make a digital photo! ::smile::

By the way ThRiLLsEeKeR ... Wonderful photos!!!

Laura, don't plan on taking a camcorder on any rides. In the park's alright, but no rides.

Ok.... I knew that.

Hmm... could a person get in trouble if they did have a camcorder or camera on say....MF....a couple of years back? And please don't say "That could never happen because they strictly prohibit that." because I know THAT. Let's just say it DID happen....(hypothetically speaking of course)...........::cough::...........could they still get into trouble today?

Im a lurker....

Laura...they are still as strict about looses articles as they were when it opened...with good reason. People could still loose their cameras, cell phones, etc. and hrut someone. They still want me to put my hat in my shirt! Which I don't understand when I can just snap it to the lapbar...

Snoopy Rocks! On Ice starts June 22--Do you think they'll let me drive the Zamboni machine?

I want to drive the Zamboni!

Oh I know CP bound... just re-read my post a bit more carefully and you will understand it better. I know first hand they are strict... and with good cause too! I was just wondering about...well...anyway.........

I sport a Kodak DC290 (2.1 Megapixel) digital camera. Whether it's for my own fun and private photos, or for sconstruction updates; I always take my camera to the parks. I'm buying a Canon Optura 100MC camcorder this summer to do professional quality videos based on theme parks.
