Pets at Lighthouse Point?

Hello, my family is taking a weekend trip at Cedar Point in September. We're staying in our camper at Lighthouse Point. We might bring along our dog, but I'm not sure if it would be against Cedar Point's rules for us to leave her in our camper while we visit the park. If we leave the air conditioning on, would it be ok to leave her in the camper? Thank you.

Pets are permitted* at Camper Village at no extra charge but must be kept on leashes at the guest's sites and must not be left unattended. Pets can also be boarded at Pet Chek during park operating hours for a fee on a space-available basis.
(*Pets are not permitted at Lighthouse Point cottages and cabins.)
