My wife and I will be at CP a week from Monday. She is having knee problems and will have to use a wheelchair for most of the visit to minimize her walking. She can walk limited distances without problem. My question is the procedure CP follows for guests in her situation when it comes to getting on rides. I read the on-line policy, but not sure I completely understand it. Have any of you had this situation and can describe how it was handled for you?

First and foremost you'll need to stop by guest services. They will give you everything you need to use the disabled entrances. The way it works is you will take the sheet they give you up the exit ramp and the ride op will give you a time to come back based on the posted wait time. So if it's noon, and you want to ride GateKeeper and the wait is an hour, they will tell you to come back at 1:00. You can go and ride other rides in that time but you can't use your sheet to "reserve" another spot in a line until you've ridden the one you are waiting on. When you go back to the ride, you use the disabled entrance which I think are all very well marked. Hope this helps.
I don't know if this will help with your question but thought I'd share . On our last visit when we were about to enter the station at Gatekeeper an employee at the turnstile left briefly to assist someone in a wheelchair coming out of the elevator. They escorted the guest toward the front of the train. We made our way to our seats and really couldn't see what happened after that.
You should probably stop by guest services after entering the park and they should be able to provide you with an explanation of their procedures regarding ride access.
