Passholder Ride Night Changes

I'm not surprised they took SV off the ride nights. ERT wouldn't start until about 1AM this month the way it's been. After going to the last one I just said nope and left. It would've probably been at least midnight before I even got on the ride. I actually experienced longer lines at ERT for SV than I do at the park normally.

This is amazingly good news for me, love the ride variety and the fact that the ert will start much earlier and I can get multiple rides in the hour instead of just 1

I did the SV ERT nights on May 22 and June 26 (my birthday). Both started about an hour and 15 minutes after park close. On June 26, when the park closed at 10pm, they didn't start the ERT until around 11:20pm. Now that the park is closing at 11pm on Tuesdays, the ERTs wouldn't start until at least 12:30am. Unless you have a hotel room or live in Sandusky, it's too late for guests to stay up and too late for the ride ops to stay up, as they will likely have a busy day the next morning. I think this is why they kept the SV ERT intact on August 21, as the park closes at 8pm and the ERT won't start horribly late.

So far I have passed on all the ERT sessions this season, that was a good move on my part.

Good move to switch it up, most people will just pass on it so if you are going then you will be able to marathon the ride.

Ive been passing on ERT Ride Nights because the lines are actually longer than when the park is open.

Last night ERT was a lot of fun. Originally scheduled as SV, then Maverick, it was changed to Dragster around 10pm for Maverick having some issues.

ERT started about 11:15 and I got about 8 rides in, so clearly much smoother than SV two weeks ago.

Unfortunately yesterday was the one day where I got up really early so arrived early but couldn't stay up late and enjoy the ERT. Definitely will go back to going later next time which I enjoy way more anyways.

Excited for the next ERT in Millennium Force. Depends on how people show but I'm hoping for a blast of a hour going through the alternate access gate and just constantly riding MF at the most glorious time of night. Valravn will also be a blast riding at night.

Witnessed some angry woman yelling at the employee at the entrance to dragster because ERT was moved from steel vengeance to dragster, felt bad for him but they probably get it from rude guests a lot.

It was a good night of ERT even though I would have rather had Maverick, I guess it was down most of the night

How dare that mean entrance host change the scheduled ride twice!!! I hope she reported him to Guest Services and was made whole again.

On a real note, what a bitch....

I have to say it was a really gutsy move to pick another Intamin for ERT after the first Intamin they picked went down.

If they are going to pick an Intamin replacement for ERT, should have gone with Jr. Gemini.

At least only for the crazy lady who yells at entrance op.

Well they would have gone with another RMC but the closest one is several hundred miles away.
