Parking Question

I'm going to be heading out to CP in mid July this year. As we all know prices on food are very high so a logical way to save money would be to leave the park and get something. My question is can I get back in the parking lot for free after ive paid once or is it another $8(or whatever it is)? Also, what time do they stop charging for parking? I know at PKI at a certain time they let you park for free, does Cp do this? Thanks.

You can get back in once as long as you save your parking ticket. Details should be printed on the ticket.

As far as I know, there is no official cutoff for the parking fee.

I also have a question about parking. Does anyone know about what they have done or are doing about the parking tax?

I thought you could leave and come back, I was just checking. I have one more question that doesnt have anything to do with parking. If you have a full day ticket, can you go the night before for free. I know in previous years they did this but I wasn't sure if it still went on.

thebeast: No. I've never heard of that, even in the past. You'd have to buy a Starlight ticket. The Getaway Guide has 'Buy 1, Get 1 Free' Starlight coupons.

jonisneo: They are paying the parking tax under protest. They have not passed the tax on to the guests - parking remains $8. I have a few parking tax stories in my news section.
