I just read a very lenghthy thread about the Parking Pass but was actually looking for this information: do you get your Parking fee refunding if you are a guest at Breakers Express and/or Castaway Bay? First time going and I'm trying to see what we need. We will have the Maxx Season Pass from Dorney Park but there is no icon for a parking pass since parking is free at Dorney Park with the Season Pass. TIA!
There's no reimbursement for BE, and likely none for CB as well.
ADDED: Breakers Express page (see bottom).

I will add that if you purchase the Breakers Express hotel package, you do get a parking voucher for your visit. Plus its a great deal!
For opening weekend:
2 Full day passes
2 Starlight Passes
2 Buy One Get One Free Soak City
Coupon Book
Breakfast Tickets for BE
Parking Voucher
2 Nights at Breakers Express
196.00 Plus Tax
This is what my friend and I are using for opening weekend. I have a season pass, but he doesnt... so Im giving him all the tickets.. and we get 2 and a half days in the park and 2 nights in BE for a great price!

My family and I used the same package last year and had a great time. Though we didn't really use the parking voucher since I had my parking pass.:)

You don't really need a parking voucher when staying there because they have a bus that shuttles you into and out of the park. If the bus is not running you should be able to talk your way into a parking voucher though. My mom did that on closing weekend last year.

I don't believe the shuttle runs off the peninsula...

Castaway has a shuttle that runs on and off point. While I have never rode that bus, I would assume it has guests on it. If they have one for Castaway, why not have one for BE?
wow, that really stinks. Did the shuttle used to run there? What is the point of paying the extra cash for a cp owned hotel if you don't get extra perks? (ok, so you get the early entrance of 1/2 hour before the general public - 1 hr before opening but that really isn't all that great for the price)

I believe that you dont get a parking refund because unlike the on Point properties you dont need to pay to check in, thus you should just check in first and then go to the park.
I just recived my reservation slip in the mail from CP for Breakers Express and they make it clear that there is no shuttle service provided to or from BE to CP.
But you still have to pay for parking. So, that theory doesn't really work. The off-point properties are cheaper, so maybe that's why?
I'm not sure why they don't offer the shuttle though. Well, I guess so they can rape more money from the guests, but besides that.
IMO, that's not exactly high class for the 'resort', not having transport for guests from two of the hotels.

But what about the Castaway shuttle? What do they use that for? Because they DO have one they keep at the hotel, and I have been stuck behind it while going through the toll booths. I see it a lot in the summer making trips across the water.

You're not paying extra for Breakers Express. Prices there are in line with similar hotels in town. As for Castaway Bay, the higher rates are for the waterpark.

So are they letting the GP in 1/2 hour later than before now (actually at the park opening) or is early entry 1/2 hour earlier than before (1-1/2 hours before park opening)?
