Park mentioned on ABC's "8 Simple Rules" last nigh

Hey gang, kind of surprised no one mentioned this.

At the end of ABC's "8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter" episode last night, the dad told his daughters that they were grounded for next weekend, and they replied with we can't be, we're going to Cedar Point!

Kind of fun to see our park on prime time.

I'm not surprised no one mentioned it. I didn't think anyone watched that show. ;) John Ritter + Hot Chicks still == failure!

I think it's supposed to take place in suburban Detroit.

Nice, Jeff! :) I feel like I'm a dying breed of people who actually still watch ABC. CBS is kicking a@@ and taking names with Raymond, Survivor, and CSI (great show, btw). NBC has it's "Must See TV" crap, and it's just me and the good folks over at ABC, I guess.

Yes, Chris is right. John Ritter plays a sports writer living in Metro Detroit.

Im not sure which figure it is, however I believe it is the director who has close ties to our area. You may have noticed the Mud Hens being advertised here and there on that show.

...And then we have Drew.

Is that show failing? I know it did surprising numbers its first week out. It was near the top of the ratings list. I didn't see the show at all, I haven't watched much T.V., but I do read about it in the paper. :-)

What's ABC? Is that one of the new obscure cable channels? :)

ABC does have Alias, and I never miss that. The only other shows I try not to miss are Fox's 24 and Boston Public, as well as WB's Birds of Prey (Huntress is the bomb... and my hero).

I have one simple rule. If there are more than 3 words in the title of a TV show, I don't watch it.
Yeah, Jeff, Alias rocks! Going to be interesting to see what happens with Sloan's "supposed dead" wife. Boston Public is also fun, seeing as I teach in a public high school.

I was just thinking the other night too, when I watching the show, how for a while there ABC was never on my tv...but now I watch it a few times a week.

CP is the best!! I will never stop loving it. You gotta, you wanna, you have to hold on Cedar Point HOLD ON!!! :) :) :)

Its suposed to be the new Home Improvement. Thats one of the reasons its set in Detroit.

Wow!! I watch 8 simple rules all the time(the red-head is hot!!!)...and the one time that Im not home, they mention CP!!!

network tv needs and should have full insertion and penetration ...into their respective markets especially in the back(ward), unpaved and muddy areas..the television viewer should grip his remote control tightly as he is changing channels....
You mean you don't watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Chief? I watch the beginning just because I think that the theme song is sweet, and if the plot interests me, I stay on the channel.

Alias and 24 are good shows. Too bad Dark Angel was canceled. That just goes to show you that a show with a drop dead hottie can still be beaten out by a 40 year old with a great plot.

How about the other one? ;)

The only shows I make sure not to miss are Trigger Happy TV and The Daily Show on Comedy Central. Two funniest shows on TV, and on Thursday nights they are on back to back. :)
