Park Map

This is the first time that I actually paid attention to a new coaster at CP. And I was wondering, when do they normaly get the park map updated? I'm curious on how they will draw TTD on the map.

They probably already have the park map updated. I would assume they are already getting ready to mail out the brodhures and getaway guides, if not then they are probably currently gettign them printed out. The updated map may not appear on the website until the season is closer at hand.

The map on the website, if that is what you are talking about, wasn't updated last year untill the season already began.

Alright I have a question about the Gateway guides. I got one last year but i dont know HOW I got one. I signed up for their brochure, lol i know i want another Gateway Guide, but im not sure what to do, i did already sign up for next seasons brochure.

The getaway guide is the same thing as the brochure. I've gotten the getaway guide past few years, and the best part is the coupons.

Back to the park map: Do you think that Top Thrill Dragster will block out Gemini? I added it in Paint and it kinda blocks it out. But I know that my version is definately different from the actual version. I was going to start my own thread on this, but I decided it would be best to just add it to this one. ;)

Hmm....didn't know that. Whenever I sign up for one of their brochures I always get a getaway guide, so I just assumed they were the same thing.

The Getaway Guide is more in depth than the brochure. It also has coupons and half the pages are stupid ads for all things Sandusky.

Before you purchase a 2003 Park Map, be sure to check that it is updated. Last year I bought a souvenior map only to later realize CP pulled a fast one by selling left over copies from the previous year (Wicked Twister was not on it). They did send me a new one after an email however.

Does anyone remember 2000 when the "You are Here" map by Mean Streak wasn't replaced from 1999 to 2000 until the end of the year/all year??!
