...the opposite is true: About a dozen years ago a friend dragged me to Carowinds (a park I had no intention of visiting) just to ride The Hurler because he thought it was a great name. I've already been asked to roadtrip to the new Led Zepplin ride by a fan of the band who isn't really that into coasters.
So pick a great name and they will come (some sort of familiar, licensed name helps). Pick a generic or confusing name and they will go, ehh (ahem Mantis ahem).
