Panda Express

I don't know how many people have eaten at the Panda Express by the Millennium Force exit, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the food and what they might find in it. The food was ok but after eating a while, i had found a fly in my chow mien. After this experience, I haven't had the stomach for Chinese food anymore.

That is the one drawback to a restaurant that spends 90% of its open time with the doors held open. I haven't had any problems there and it is one of the better food options in the park.

Warning: Off Topic! We had the same problem with some food from a place around our house. And I've heard from many people that they have found some type of bug in their Chinese food. It's kind of a weird coincidence that you mentioned that.

4 summers of employment in ride operations does stuff to you.

If the open door policy isn't a problem in itself at Panda Express.

When you sit outside lots of bugs will swarm around you.

you would be surprised by the amount of things you have eaten that was in your food and didn't know about.

Don't let Kinzel find out about that fly. He might try to charge you extra.

Panda is one of my favorite places to eat (hence my avatar) inside the park and is the only one I'm truely willing to spend money on. And so far, I havnt had a problem with them. Call me crazy but I've always had courteous service from them.

The fly in your chow mein Mccray is unfortunate, but not necessarily their fault. Consider, like John said, the open doors and even if you were eating outside. The one thing you can't avoid when eating outside (especially where Panda is located) is the interaction with bugs....as well as birds. What I'm saying is take in consideration the possibility that the fly got in your chow mein when you weren't paying attention and got stuck.
Other than that, I wouldn't let this stain you opinion about them. Though I'll admit that they should start to consider closing the doors just so it doesnt happen in the future.

I have to agree with Adam here. I went there for the first time on July 6th and man it brought back memories of it being at my local mall. The Food is just excellent. The price is a little high but it's one of those places that once you eat there for the first time you just want to keep coming back for anyway. Donut Time is the same way for me, but that's another topic. :)

Donut Time was a little shaky in its first year, but seems to be fine now. There were a few characters in there that first year that were missing teeth and had a "carny" look to them.

Did you eat the fly? It was probably the healthiest thing on your plate.

I'm not complaining about the service at all. They were really great about the the whole thing. They offered to either give me another whole plate of food or my money back which i definately did. And I was not eating outside and the fly was on the bottom of my plate so it didn't just drop in when I wasn't watching. Lol but I'm not downing the service there at all but I do think that they should change the open door policy. Just my opinion.
