Paddlewheel Excursions (New & Improved)

Was Paddlewheel Excursions running on opening day? If it was, did anyone ride it? What did they change, besides shortening the dock? Everyone has been talking about opening day, but no one mentioned anything about this ride. If it isn't open yet, then disregard the above questions.

The dock isn't even shortened that I noticed. Its the same with some new buildings added just before the docks, still the same fun and cheesy ride.

Thats right Virginia, I am Santa Claus.

I thought that some of the storage docks were taken out so that Dragster would fit, but maybe I am wrong.

I noticed that Muddy Waters was gone.
Paddlewheel has new storage docks, but the original docks are the same. Guests may no longer wait in the dock area, they must stay under the pavillion and there is now a paddlewheel captain who serves as a crowd control who lets guests out of the pavillion and onto the boats. This is done because of things falling from TTD such as glasses, lighters, cigs, etc. On the ride itself, Muddy Waters was gone, and there was a new building toward the end near where muddy waters was. It's just replacing an older building... I forget what it was called but if my memory serves me correctly it had something to do with a Toilet. The man who was painting the boat near Muddy Waters is gone... so is the boat. There are now jars of honey in the bear scene, and a sleeping, perhaps drunken camper amongst the bear family. Something very petty, but Buck Skinner's timing is a little faster than it was is 2001 (when he was working). Those are all the changes I remember. Hope it helped.

ONE freeway stamp a day... ONE

I thought that the "sleeper" was laying down by the Pig...isn't that muddy waters? Anyway...there is a guy laying in a hammock near the pig. Before he was pouring the water.

The lady who was directing our "cruise" made a comment that "Maybe by the end of Cedar Point's season this year, Buck will learn not to interrupt!" It was funny!

The "Civil" city seemed a little more organized this year also.

Hey Vanessa you might want to change your signature :)

Hey coasterluver, I said "ONE freeway stamp a day... ONE" about 52 billion times last year since I was a person who gave out freeway stamps. I think it still suits me just fine! :-P The sleeping guy was with the bears, and they were eating the honey that he had left out at his campsite. There is still a guy pouring water into the pig's bathtub as well. Muddy Waters is the guy on the right side when you are a passenger right when you come around the bend by the storage docks. It's the last scene on the right hand side before the ride is over. Muddy used to sing. It was wonderful. I miss him *sniff*
