So, I still had hopes they had future plans in place as the boats continued to reside in the employee housing parking lot at the Sandusky side of the causeway. But, they are for sale now.
I'm not sure which is which. Additionally, it looks like they will be selling the 4th one, which is currently a scene in Blood on the Bayou.

Because they don't want another amusement park company to use them cheaply.
Wait, where have I heard this conspiracy before...
More likely because the motors are conventional marine engines that a lakeside facility with a lagoon and two marinas just *might* have uses for?

Besides, if I were buying an excursion boat, I think I would want to equip it with an engine that is just a little bit louder. On Paddlewheel, you could still almost hear the Captain doing his spiel over the engine noise; I'd think it would be possible to drown him out completely...

Yes, for now at least. The eBay listing mentioned all 4 would be sold.

Jason, you seem to have an extensive collection of CP memorabilia. Now is your chance to 1-up everyone with your very own Paddlewheel boat - the ultimate CP collectable! Hmmm maybe you're already high bidder on all 3, seeking that 4th... ;)
Edit: Did anyone else find the seller / seller history interesting? The seller is CFEC2008, which I'd guess is Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, account created in 2008. If you look through the feedback history, the only thing you find is that they resold some Star Trek: The Experience tickets for some very high prices.
No boats for me thank you. BOAT stands for, Break Out Another Thousand. Lord only knows the condition of those things.
I got the impression that the tickets were for the last chance to do the experience before it closed. Maybe for charity.

Wonder if you could get the 3 grand or so they're currently at back in aluminum scrapping? Might be worth it, and then you'd have some benches as a souvenir :)

Only selling 3 from the listings...
"One of four boats used on Cedar Point Paddlewheel Excursion ride from 1997 to 2011. Two other boats will be for sale in separate listings."
If you are viewing 1 listing and it says there will be 2 others listed separately, that only gives you 3 boats :)
