"Outside" Beer Question

A few years ago it was perfectly acceptable to purchase a beer at the Surf Lounge in Breakers, walk down the boardwalk with it and take it into the park (Windseeker entrance). I know there are security checkpoints now. Will this still be allowed? Technically it's Cedar Point beer bought on property, so not really "outside". Thoughts?

I've done that this year, and I believe that it's still allowed. But at the same time, the gate employee may have just not noticed.

They have been allowing it this year as well.
